The Label 1976 Podcast is the flagship of Label 1976 Productions LLC. Launched in 2021; We specialize in uncovering the obscure details behind cultural icons, historical laws and some cold cases. Whether we are dissecting the origins of Betty Boop or the impact of the Tignon Laws. We provide the research for the curious mind. Label 1976 Podcast was created to give a voice to authentic storytelling, where real experiences, unfiltered conversations, and everyday life take center stage. This isn’t just a podcast platform, it’s a space where people can relate, reflect, and feel connected through genuine dialogue.

Our Story

Label 1976 was built from a passion for music and all the different stories that contribute to making your favorite artist great. We then added our own spin on our show by giving you music history, cultural history and different stories that make you think deeper about what is presented to you in the mainstream. This can be heard in our “ Things you Possibly Perhaps Didn’t Know” portion of our show.

Beyond the hidden origins of culture lies a darker thread of history that we enjoy exploring. Within the 1976 label, we also focus on crimes that have ripped through the headlines. We go between different timelines to give details of lesser-known stories of all genres that we bring to the forefront. We even take a deep dive approach to the cases that Father time and the justice system often leave behind.

We do not leave out the lighthearted banter in some episodes as there cannot be all work and no play, but our intention is always to leave you with some information to put in your back pocket and pull out during conversation with friends. Diving into the strange and mysterious at times, sprinkled with conspiracy theories.
